WordPress Developer vs WordPress Customizer – What’s the difference? 🤔
I see a lot of people mix these two up, so here’s a quick way to think about it:
🔹 Customizer
- Works mostly with themes, page builders, and plugins.
- Tweaks layouts, colors, fonts, and minor functionalities.
- Rarely touches the core code — they make things look and feel right.
🔹 Developer
- Works with PHP, JavaScript, APIs — basically the engine under the hood.
- Builds custom themes, plugins, and advanced functionalities.
- Can make WordPress do things that no plugin can.
In short:
Customizer = tweaks & styling
Developer = builds & codes
